Schroder PR suggested that Rubicon begin a Twitter account: @RubiconGroup to capitalize on emerging social media opportunities. After conducting research on the level of participation Rubicon’s key audiences had on social media venues, we determined that there was a wide audience of hotel managers, hotel brands, revenue management personnel and other hospitality and travel experts with Twitter accounts engaging in conversations daily.
In conjunction with several members of the Rubicon staff Schroder PR posts regular “tweets” for Rubicon. Schroder also reaches out and interacts with other members of the Twitter community by responding to things other users have “tweeted” and by direct-messaging other users for their insights and to establish relationships.
